Choose a Skleo partner near you on our locations page and sign up online. You'll then receive your personal Check ID by email, along with the price at your chosen partner and information on booking your appointment.

A check that fits your day
Our partner opticians or specially trained drugstore staff will take a digital retina scan, conduct a vision test, and in some cases measure your intraocular pressure.

Reviewed by real experts
AI analyzes your retina photos for 12 retinal markers that can indicate conditions such as glaucoma. A licensed ophthalmologist then reviews the results in every case, making adjustments if needed.

Your personal results report
Within 24 hours the medically validated report arrives directly by email. Your easy-to-understand report includes concrete recommendations for your next steps.

If abnormalities are detected, we won't leave you on your own. Simply choose your preferred partner doctor and book an appointment within a few days, directly through the Skleo platform.
Each eye health check is validated twice: in the first step, an AI that is CE-marked as a medical device and certified under MDR class IIa analyzes the retinal images for 12 defined markers that can point to potential findings. Every result is then reviewed and validated by ophthalmology specialists, regardless of the AI's analysis.
This ‘human-in-the-loop’ approach delivers accuracy. Furthermore, the high medical quality of our entire offering is underpinned by our close scientific collaboration with Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
You can expect your results within 24 hours, and your data to be securely encrypted in the Skleo cloud.
